About Laura Stewart

Hello there!

I am inspired by the moments we lose to memory. My goal is to bottle up our most treasured moments in my photographs to save for later. Pictures that call attention to things that other people overlook. My approach is to capture romantic, natural and the little details in every photograph.

I’ve had a camera in my hand since I was a kid, but I did not realize then how much I truly loved it. I always imagined being in front of the camera where I could sing, dance and act. Looking back I realized that I was always the one documenting my family and friend’s happy moments. I love nothing more then to see everyone smiling and enjoying life.

I was born and raised in Ottawa but I did have to move to Toronto for my teen years. Even though I was gone for several years, Ottawa was still my home and I came back. Ottawa was where I wanted to go to college and study my passion for Photography.

While I was at college I was inspired to capture weddings the most thanks to my mentor, who is also a wedding photographer. Not only do I capture weddings but I also have a passion for photographing family and children portraits.

To sum me up into fewer words: Bubbly. Dreamer. Traveller. Observant. Friendly. Dedicated. Creative.
